Permanent link All PostsOn May 18, approximately 70 grade 9's will take part in an Emergency Preparedness Day. Students will be attending workshops facilitated by the Fire Dept., OPP, EMS, Red Cross, Public Health, North Power, and Emergency Management. The purpose of the day is to educate and inform our students concerning necessary preparations in case of an emergency and/or possible evacuation. Students will also be asked to prepare in advance an emergency kit/lunch. Fire trucks, police cars, Red Cross vehicles etc. will be a common sight at the school on that day.
