4 Options for Extra Help

Here are 4 great ways to get extra help if you are having trouble with anything in this or other courses!

1) Talk to me anytime! : I am around before school, after school, or at lunch if you need me.  Just give me a heads-up in class or send me an e-mail to set up a time!

2) The Math Help Room: Open Monday through Thursday at lunch in Rooms 103-105.  A rotation of Math teachers are there at your disposal to ask questions in an open-door, come-as-needed basis.  I may or may not be there...but someone there will definitely be able to help!

3) YouTube: Believe it or not, YouTube isn't just for watching your favourite music videos or people falling down stairs!  There is a TON of video lessons on there.  Just look up a topic in the search bar!  Other people may be able to show you a different, but equally correct way of doing a question!  Remember that there is usually a number of ways of doing a question, but due to time constraints, I tend to only show one or two ways!

4) Online Ask-A-Teacher: (www.ilc.org) The Independent Learning Centre (ILC) is run by the Ontario Ministry of Education and offers correspondance courses.  However, they also have a feature called "Ask-A-Teacher", where REAL teachers are paid to help Ontario students with school work.  It is a one-on-one anonymous chat, where you can ask questions for ANY of your classes, including Math.  This is a great resource that is open Sunday-Thursday 5:30-9:30pm.  I recommend checking it out, and pre-signing up...so you can just sign-in when you have a question.  It is also worth messing around to see how it works when you are not stressed!
