Tuesday, May 24, 2016 Day 1

If you participated in any teams or clubs this year, don’t forget to get your ticket for the Co-curricular Gala. It is a fun evening of dinner and dancing. Tickets are continuing to be sold this week for $20!

Attention grade twelves! Prom tickets will be sold for $65 at lunch, in the main foyer all week. Bring your forms, and buy your tickets before Friday. You will not want to miss out!

Reminder to graduating students that your Community Involvement hours are now due. Please submit yours to student services ASAP if you have not done so already.

A reminder to the Westside Girls’ Lacrosse team that there will be a final meeting on Wednesday at the beginning of lunch in Room 124. Please remember to bring your jersey and your $50.00 Team Fee.

There will be a yearbook club meeting today at lunch in room 212. All members please attend.

The Staff-Student volleyball game has been cancelled, so there is NO buy in today.

The Prom Committee will be hosting a carwash fundraiser tomorrow, from 9:00am to 6:00pm, in the Canadian Tire parking lot. We encourage you to go get a $5 carwash with your friends and family!

Next Friday is Twin Day, don’t forget to dress accordingly!

The students doing the swim test this morning must meet in the main foyer at 9:30am sharp!

The Reading Club will meet in the library seminar room at lunch today.

Congratulations to Westside’s Track and Field team who participated at CWOSSA over the past 2 days. Caitlin Sostar in the 3000, Ben Van Zant in Javelin and Keith Corbett in the 3000 all advanced to OFSSA regionals next week.

Ticket sales for Prom begin on Monday of next week. Tickets will be $65, and do not forget all of your forms! You won’t want to miss this.

Today is the last day that Tickets for this year's co-curricular banquet will be sold. They are $20.

Westside Baseball Club members can view their spring training stats today at lunch outside Room 124. The Westside World Series team list will also be posted along with the Best of 5 series schedule. Game 1 starts Tuesday after the long weekend.

Congratulations to the musicians who performed at last night’s Spring Concert! There were over 70 students who came together to showcase their musical talent to their families, peers and staff! We raised $527.60 towards a new set of chimes. As always, Ms. Padgett is so very proud of her music students. Job well done gang!

This is a reminder to all students who have handed in Application Forms for next year’s Link Crew Leadership Team - The “Link Crew Group Interview” will take place today after school in the Gym. See you there!

Come support the girls lacrosse team as they take on the ODSS Bears in their OFSAA qualifying game today at 2:50pm. Good luck girls!

Any students participating in the “Feeney Cup” Football tournament tomorrow must pick up a form from Mr. Bosomworth today in Gym at Lunch.

The Anime Club will meet in the library seminar room at lunch today.

All students wanting to go on the canoe field trip next week , submit forms today!
