Two Weeks to Go!

As always, the summer has flown by.  Whenever I see one of our students on the streets or around town, I can tell that two months have passed as they have gotten taller.  Most people I have talked to have really enjoyed their summer!

Just a reminder that school starts on September 6th.  All students (except for kindergartens) will meet on the tarmac at the back of the school.  Class lists will be up for students to look at and find their teachers.  There will be lots of help outside, so don't worry about your child getting lost.  Once the bell goes, staff will gather up any students who have not found their way to class.

Please don't call the school and request a change of class for your child.  Teachers have put a lot of thought into placements, and have placed your child in the class and with the teacher that they think is best.  Also remember, that because of numbers, things can change and classes may change after the first week.  While students often come home upset that they weren't placed with a friend, or because they were moved, most often it only takes a few days and they are happy where they are.
