Calling all parents and students!  You are invited to our second annual garden / yard clean up this Saturday, April 27th from 10 am to1 pm.  Please bring some gardening gloves and digging tools.  Join us for an hour or two.  We would really appreciate it!

Book Fair will be here staring Monday, May 6th and volunteers are needed. If you are available to help with set-up or to be a cashier please complete this brief online survey:

Our new library website is finally up and running. We invite students and families to visit our new site at https://sites.google.com/a/ugcloud.ca/westminster-woods-ps-library/home . On the site you will find information about upcoming events, our library search catalogue, links to great resources, a KOBO catalogue and so much more. Students are also invited to submit suggestions for books and magazines they would like to see added to our library collection. Look for the link on the home page. Remember to check back often for news and updates.

 

 

The Intermediate students at Westminster Woods are now taking orders for Elmira Poultry products.  All money raised will be put toward their trip to Ottawa.  A list of the available product can be viewed by clicking the attached link.

The Upper Grand District School Board has developed a new policy and procedures that set Accessibility Standards. We are inviting interested persons to submit comments on the draft documents. Happy New Year to all of our Westminster Woods families!  We hope that you enjoyed some time with your children (and the snow that finally came)!  Please remind them to wear their hats, mittens and boots to school as we will be going outside (even when it's cold).  All students are expected to go outside twice a day for twenty-five minutes each time.  They need to be dressed warmly!!!
