Kindergarten and Full Day Early Learning Kindergarten

Kindergarten is a two year program that includes Junior (year 1) and Senior (year 2) Kindergarten. We invite you to register your child for Kindergarten at your local school. To find out which school serves your neighbourhood, visit www.findmyschool.ca.

In September, 2010, our Board began offering the full day kindergarten program in some schools as part of a province wide implementation plan. Forty-three schools in our Board will be offering full day kindergarten as of September 2013. At these schools JK and SK children attend all day every day.

French Immersion is also offered at some schools: John McCrae, Edward Johnson, Victory, Paisley Road, F.A. Hamilton, King George (City of Guelph), James McQueen (Centre Wellington), Princess Elizabeth (Orangeville for all Dufferin County), Brisbane (East Wellington), and Palmerston (North Wellington).
