From the Principal

I would like to start by celebrating our incredible efforts with the Jump Rope for Heart.  Thanks to your fund raising efforts, we far exceeded our goal of $10, 000.  Please read the section in the newsletter to find out the final total; it is quite impressive!  Thank you for all of your work in supporting us with this!  A very special thank you to Mrs. Berezuk, who organized and ran this event!

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),

We would like to thank you for your support with the purchase of subs, as it is part of classroom fundraising efforts, throughout the year.

We will not be having any more sub days for the remainder of this school year. Pizza will continue to be available.

Thanks for your support with this.

On April 26th and April 27th, the whole school participated in fun skipping activities. Everyone from Kindergarten to Grade 6 worked together to develop jump rope skills and tricks, and altogether we had a great time raising money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The community of Paisley is living proof that although small, together we can make a big difference, and we did. We raised $17,821.12 for Heart and Stroke and as a result of our participation we will be receiving funding for sports equipment for our school. Congratulations to all who worked hard at getting sponsors and those who sponsored so generously. Prizes will be distributed to students later in May, when they arrive. Also, a very big thank-you to Mrs. Berezuk, who organized and jump started Jump Rope for Heart at Paisley Road!
