It is with great enthusiasm that I am sharing two new administrative changes that will affect our school community.

At last night's Board meeting Mr.Chad Guyitt was announced to be the new Vice Principal at King George next year. Chad has been the Vice Principal at Westminster Woods and is currently the Vice Principal at Jean Little P. S.  Mr. Guyitt has taught several grades at Aberfoyle. He is very excited about his new assignment and he is looking forward to getting to know the students, staff and parents in the King George community. I am confident Chad will be an excellent addition to our staff in his .5 assignment as Vice Principal and I look forward to working with him.

In addition, Mr. Ken Keesmaat was announced as the new Principal of the new Laurine Ave school. I know Mr. Keesmaat  is very excited to open a new school and transition Tytler and Laurine communities into a K-8 school site.  Mr. Keesmaat is currently the Principal of Tytler P. S. and he was the Principal at Ponsonby P. S. He is also looking forward to getting to know the communities to serve the new Laurine Avenue.

I wish both Mr. Guyitt and Mr. Keesmaat all the best in their new roles and look forward to working with them in the near future. Please join me in welcoming them into our school communities!
