Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Guardians
I have spent the summer getting to know the physical plant of Ecole Edward Johnson School, and many of the staff. I know that this school is a safe, caring learning environment where staff and students work hard to do their best. The French Immersion program is thriving here as is evident from the growth in student numbers to approximately 480 students this fall! That is a growth of 3 classes!
This is an exciting place to be.
As September 6th approaches, I look forward to getting to know the students and families. We will continue to promote high academic skills and positive personal skills this year, as well as provide opportunities for our students to develop proficiency in both French and English.
The mission statement in the office at Ecole Edward Johnson School states:
" The mission of the Edward Johnson school community is to nurture a passion for learning, in an environment of mutual trust and respect that values each individual's needs and talents."
This is the goal for which we will continue to strive.
Please feel welcome to contact me at any time.
I look forward to seeing you either on September 6th or at our Open House later in September.
Yours truly,
Anne Lehoux
