Circulation Information

 

  • NO loans are permitted to students with overdue materials or unpaid fines.
  • Item Type Borrowing Limit Loan Period Overdue Fine
  • Fiction / Non Fiction Up to 3 on 1 topic, 5 in total 3 Weeks 25 ¢ per day
  • Magazines Up to 3 items 1 Week 50 ¢ per day
  • Reference Limit 1 item Overnight 50 ¢ per day
 
  •   Resume Paper $ 0.10 cents per sheet
  • Overheads (Photocopy) $ 0.25 cents per sheet
  • Overhead (Colour Bubble Jet)
    $ 1.00 per sheet plus $ 1.00 full colour page
  • Poster Board $ 1.00 per sheet

Learning Commons 

Computers

  • Students are given a print account. Each page is $0.05, so this is enough for 5 pages. In order to continue to print students must give Mr. Mills money to top up their printing accounts.
  • There are 27 computers available to students with Internet access and laser printing capabilities.
  • Printing Fees
    • Laser Printer : 5 cents per sheet
    • Colour Printer: up to $1.00 per page dependant on amount of colour used. To make a colour print a student must put their document into the library folder in the shared drive. a library staff member will make a colour print.
    • Printing on a Transparent Overhead Sheet is possible but the sheet must also be purchased. ($0.25)
    • Overheads for colour are $1.00 plus printing costs and a library staff member will print the sheet on the colour printer located behind the circulation desk.
    • Photocopier: 10 cents per page
     
  • There are 6 dedicated HIP (Horizon Information Portal) computers for searching
    the JFR Information Center Library catalogue
