We had a great turnout for our first School Council meeting of the year, and it was wonderful to see a true mix of Jean Little and F.A. Hamilton parents. Thanks to everyone for coming out. If your child is in need of dental services but the cost is prohibitive, please click here for an important notice on free dental care, offered through our local public health unit.

If your child keeps medication at school, such as Epi-pens, puffers, insulin, etc., please ensure that it has not expired. If you think it might have or is soon to expire, please send in a new one. Given that some of these are used in life-threatening situations, we want to make sure we have current medication. Please make sure the packaging is clearly marked with your child's name. Thanks!

Photo Day is coming up on September 26, 2011! Kindergarten students not attending school that day will have their picture day the following day.

Find out how you and your family can help fight hunger in Haiti - click here to view information on this event, to be held at the University of Guelph on Sat. Sept. 17. They are trying to set a world record, packaging up over 150,000 emergency meal packages. Volunteers are needed to help set up and run the event.

Once again, we are offering pizza on Fridays, and milk daily (white or chocolate). Students will have received the order forms on Monday, Sept. 12, but if they don't make it home, don't fret!
