Each year a group of Erin/Hillsburgh parents from each school (Brisbane, Erin Public, Erin District High School, Ross R. Mackay and St. John Brebeuf) assemble to create an event that engages parents in their child’s education and development.This year, this group presents:

Reach for the Stars: Stories of Inspiration from Canada’s Top Athletes at the Erin Theatre on May 7th, 2012 at 7pm 

On May 7, two top athletes will share their experiences with our Erin families showing how they overcame challenges in their pursuit of excellence. These motivational speakers will capture the heart with their stories and how they are affecting the lives of children.

Principal's Message

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Erin Public School community for the warm welcome and the support over the past month. Mr. Zuk has left a well organized and smooth running school for which I am grateful. With the help of Mr. Singh and all of the staff we will continue to promote growth for all of our students and continue to ensure that the learning environment is safe, welcoming and productive. Please continue to work with your children as you reflect on the report cards that came home in February. Take this opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments and to provide support in the areas of growth.
I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible in the coming weeks. Feel free to drop by and say hello!

In a closed session of the Upper Grand District School Board, held on January 24, 2012, the Board approved the holding of a caucus meeting to receive a legal opinion about the actions of one of its members, concerning her alleged actions involving funding support from the Erin Town Council.
