Everyone has a different perspective on the meaning of success. For some it is the material reward you attain when you reach your goal and for others it is knowing that someone else will benefit because you have succeeded. Success, however, does not come without work. In fact, if there is no work then the goal was set too low. On June 20, you will begin to write your final exams for this school year. For those of you in grades 9, 10, and 11 success might mean you have gained another credit or you have achieved the mark you set for yourself. For our graduating students, it may be the last exam you will write and you are now entering the world of work. Success may mean living independently and paying bills like the rest of us. For others these final exams might be a stepping stone to the next stage in your educational journey and success may mean being accepted in the right program or at the desired school. Whatever your definition of success is right now - do the work, celebrate when you have achieved it and set your sights on your next success!
Best wishes to all the staff and students at CDDHS. Have a great summer and we'll see you September. To our graduates - best wishes on your future endeavours! We look forward to hearing about them.
