Arthur Public School has been certified as an Ontario EcoSchool, earning a gold medal. Ontario EcoSchools is an environmental education program for grades 1 to 12 that helps students develop ecological literacy while engaged in practices to become environmentally responsible citizens. Developed and run by school boards, Ontario EcoSchools also helps reduce the environmental impacts of school building operations.
