The following was read on the announcements today. I had the grade 6 class listen to it for 'quality control' to be sure it was of the quality required to be read to the school. The students wanted me to post it on my blog.:)

"Thank you to everyone who brought a litterless lunch to school today. For those of you who did not bring a litterless lunch, please be sure to take all of your lunch garbage home with you. This will help your family to notice just how much garbage is created everday simply from one person's lunch. When we are aware of the garbage we leave on our planet, it might help us to want to create less garbage.

Next week is Earth Week. Every day will be a litterless lunch/boomerang luch day here at Aberfoyle Public School.

Let's go green Aberfolye!"
