We have a busy week this week with our Social Studies First Nations unit test today and our data management math test tomorrow.  Thanks for assisting your child in being prepared for these evaluations.  Students have completed their social studies research and are currently writing their reports in class.  They should be working on the "at home" portions of their projects which include the poster or duotang and the 3 d model depicting an aspect of the life of their First Nations group.  These projects are due in class no later than next Friday, December 3rd.

We will be continuing with Social Studies, studying European Explorers.  In math we will be starting a measurement unit next week which should wrap up by the holidays.

Thanks so much for your donations to our "Fingers and Toes" theme baskets.  We have several lovely things already! If you still plan on contributing, please send in the items soon...basket wrapping starts early next week.

I am looking forward to seeing each of you to discuss the progress reports either tomorrow evening or Friday.  Please let the office know if you are unable to keep your appointment.

Please return the report envelope and the tear-off section of page 2 of the report.
