Hope everyone had a great March Break! There are a number of important deadlines coming up that you need to be aware of.  This Friday is a big day! The students Swimming, Brock Trip, and Book order forms and money are due.  Our academic focus from now until Easter is as follows:

Grade 6:  Math - Numeration,  Reading - Non-Fiction (Newspapers and Biographies), Writing -(Editing

              and Revising / Biographies and Character Sketches)  

Grade 7:  Math -Algebra continued (balancing equations), Reading: Non-Fiction -News & Biographies),  

              Writing -(Editing and Revising / Biographies and Character Sketches)  

Both the grade 6's and 7's will be moving out of science and into Geography and History at the end of March.  There will be nightly reading homework required once we start the history unit on Western Canadian Expansion  in May.
