Good afternoon all!  Tonight students have math, English and Geography for homework.  In Language, students are working on developing effective summaries by using the five w's. They have an article from the newspaper to read and then they need to fill out the 5w's chart and create a small summary.  In math, they should be working on chapter 1.6 questions 1-8.  Finally, in geography, students have 2 sheets to complete where they need to cut and paste. 

Just a friendly reminder also that tomorrow is Terry Fox Marathon day.  We are running rain or shine so prepare for both!  I've challenged the kids in that if they can bring in $200 for our class, my hair (and what's left of it) will go!  Yup! Right down to the wood!  Let's see if we can do it!  That's only $10 a kid!
