Tonight studets have math, chapter 1.1, questions 1-10 for homework.  Some also have French to finish- Les Vacance d'e'te'.  Still waiting for some forms and money from students.  Get them in as soon as possible please!

Another successfull day in grade eight.  We are under way and beginning to gain some momentum in a variety of different subject areas.  Just a reminder that if forms could be back some time before the end of the week, it would be greatly appreciated.  Also, all students picked up an agenda, so we need $6.00 from everyone for that purchase. 

Tonight students had some light homework.  In math, I asked students to finish a "get ready" section in math- our first unit is Measurement and we'll be looking into the concept of "Pi".  I've also asked students to bring in a photo or picture from a magazine.  We'll be studying the works on Monet in art and students will have a chance to work on a piece using his style.  That's it.  Thanks for reading!
