Afternoon all,

Just a reminder that our last ski day will take place this Wednesday February 29th, 2012. I've sent a permission form home tonight regarding swimming.  As you may or may not know, we take part in a "water awareness" program hosted by Fergus Aquatic Centre.  Students will take part in a 5 week program that teaches students skills revolving around awareness and safety.  This is part of our phys ed program and we hope that every student takes part in this.

Tonight students have some math to finish chapter 7.4, and they do have a unit test this week- likely Thursday.

Have a great night!

Good afternoon all.  Sorry for the late post.  Tomorrow we have an algebra math test and we begin speeches in class. Our presentation to the school will be held on Friday February 17th, 2012.  We don't have any interested participants from our class this year which is a bit of a disappointment.  We are trying to drum up some competition as our students really do have some wonderful content ideas.

Just a reminder as well that we have skiing this Friday. We do have a make up day planned for our snow date.  It's on February 29th, 2012 which I believe is a Wednesday.  More details to come.

Have a great night!

Good afternoon all,

We had a great session of grad photos this morning, I think you all will be pleased with them.  Tonight students should be working on their speeches, completing their rough drafts and making revisions accordingly.  Also, they should be finishing up chapter 6.4 in the text and preparing for their unit test which will likely be next Tuesday.  All students should again be reading their red maples before bed!

Have a great night!
