Just a reminder that students have a math test tomorrow- probability. They also have a persuasive writing organizer to complete.  On Friday, students will be writing a Geography test.  Hope everyone made it through the last few days safely.  Have a great night!

Imagine that, no basketball tonight.  Yes, it's been a busy week for our boys but we are doing well.  2 wins, 2 losses. We are definately getting better.  We play Montgomery Village Friday, let's get 'em boys...

Tonight, students have math to finish up- chapter 4.5 to the end.  Math test next wednesday, Geography test next week as well.  No language, we are at the end of a unit and will  be working on some research for speeches as well as some fun activities leading into the winter break.

Dear Parents and Students,

Thank you all for you kind donations to our "Breakfast with Santa", we had a great time,  albeit a bit early for my liking.  We raised some money for the school, and once again, our community came together to enjoy each other's company and the spirit of the season.  Tonight, students are working on a descriptive revision.  We just don't seem to be there when attempting to illustrate descriptive words etc.  We are getting better but we need to develop stronger word choice when using adjectives and adverbs. Help your child revise their work so they can get a better sense of how descriptive words paint a picture.

Basketball parents, a note went home tonight regarding the changes to the boys schedule.

Just a reminder that Breakfast with Santa is this Saturday December 4th, 2010 from 7am to 10am.  Still also looking for some items-we are doing Arts and Crafts.  If you have an item you were planning on donating, please have your child bring it to school this morning.  Thanks!

Homework tonight, students have math, chapter 4.2 to finish as well as their final draft of "letter to the editor" which is a descriptive piece outlining why they think reality tv is a hoax.
