Tonight students have to complete 12.3 (grade 8) and 8.3 (grade 7).  We are also back doing some regular programming in Language, students are to complete an organizer on descriptive, expository text structures.  History and Geography are still ongoing- we will be moving back to science in the next couple of weeks.

Breakfast with Santa items are still coming in.  Tomorrow is the cut-off but I think you could sneak a few more items in early next week.

Have a good night!

Hello all!  Sorry for the delay in getting a note out!  Busy times abound!  I wanted to take a quick moment to let you all know how proud we are of your children.  They put on an absolutely outstanding celebration today.  Our seniors were overjoyed by the scrap books and slide shows our students made.  The co ordinators of the program, the Reeve of East Garafraxa and many well wishers were amazed by the talents of our grade 7's and 8's.  Mr. V also had a few words for our class- he was most excited about our commitment, respect and diligence over the last 8 weeks.  Please speak with your son/daughter about the celebration today and about what they learned through this process-I'm sure you'll be quite impressed!  Look for a write up in the Banner and SNAP! Dufferin.

Homework for tonight (yes, can't get away that easy!)  Both grades have to finish the chapter they are currently on.  No more than a half hour please.  Reading or multiplication facts can be done if students are caught up on everything.

Have a great night!
