By the sounds of things, it looks like the visit to Westside was a resounding success.  I do believe that our students are feeling a bit more relaxed about highschool.  Tonight's homework is actually last night's homework as it doesn't look like there was a lot ot time to get things done.  The essay is a priority.  Because our writing goal is revising and editing, it

's imperative that students include all rough copies, and organizers with their essay.  We need to be seeing revisions of work and proof of editing.  This has been discussed at length with students so their shouldn't be any surprises.

TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY TO SIGN UP FOR SKIING.  ALL FORMS MUST BE FILLED OUT AND BROUGHT IN TOMORROW!

Have a great night!

Hello all and sorry for the lack of posting over the last couple of days.  Tonight, don't forget the open house at Westside.  It's at 7pm and will run for about an hour and fifteen or an hour and a half.  I'm not too worried if students don't get their homework done tonight.  If there is time, students should be working on Chapter 5.5 in grade eight and chapter 5.2 in grade 7.  A few of the grade 7's are ahead and won't have homework.  A couple are trying to catch up tonight.  Our mini essays are due on Friday.  This was assigned before Christmas and their should be no excuses.  Once again if students don't have a computer or printer they can write it out or they can type it up, send it on email and I can have it printed out before they get in the next morning.  Students should also be working on their persuasive speech and reading one of our red maple novels.

PLEASE GET  ALL SKI FORMS IN BY FRIDAY AT THE LATEST. IF STUDENTS DO NOT HAVE THEIR FORMS IN, THEY WILL NOT BE GOING ON THE FIRST TRIP NEXT WEEK.

Have a great night.
